The Confusing parts of the political spectrum part I

Personally I myself don’t get the whole political spectrum and where I would place myself.

What is the Political Spectrum?

It is a compass that determines one’s political views.

Why is it confusing?

Well, let’s start with free speech. I know some people from either sides of the political spectrum want it but it’s confusing in that they use this “privilege” if you will to bash others and when one side says something the other side attacks them. For example, the left might advocate for sex-education in schools while the right-wing might advocate for what-ever desire? Is not free speech supposed to be about unity? If so why are sides fighting with each other? This is where free speech becomes confusing as both sides are equally bashing each other whereas free speech LEGITIMATELY says that you can say whatever you want and people will not get offended.

Another confusing thing I find about the political spectrum is that today’s politicians before they spread their cause of the party they should stop and consider the risks. In my opinion, it is not about winning the election or tax but it is more about doing what is right in the favour of the people. It is about doing what is right in the eyes of the country and its people. Be it: United States, Australia, UK, France etc. The politicians of today’s world should consider what is needed in their country by doing a census of what the people want and how it benefits the country. A possible example is taking into effect those who are calling for change.

Those politicians should if they do attempt to run for prime minister/president/premier etc, should stop and think about their causes that they are bringing to the world stage. We have seen so many politicians waste the time of their service by not caring about the country’s needs. (Then again I am not saying all politicians are bad.)

Politicians should take into account the laws that they make and the effects of said laws on the country as they become part of the country’s legislature. They should consider the following things:

  1. What will this do for the country and its people? Will it Benefit the country or will it harm the country? Will it hurt the people or will it help them to be more productive in our society? (Especially Minorities)
  2. Is this needed or is this something that will be a waste of time? E.g will this law hurt the people of the country?
  3. What goals do I have for the future of my country?
  4. What can I do to achieve the goals?
  5. Will this advance the country in any areas that are needed? E.g better schools <advance>, privatise hospitals and make entrance fees <hindrance>, upgrade military funding and provide insurance that covers war-affected widows and their children (E.g pay for their funeral) <advance>, Upgrade unrenewable fuels that cause pollution into the air <hindrance> Provide better awareness and harsher policies to schools that do not deal with bullying within their premises <advance> (etc)

There so many questions that politicians will have to ask themselves before they lay down a policy.

If any politicians see this please remember

THINK BEFORE YOU MAKE A LAW. WHAT YOU DO MAKES AN IMPACT ON A COUNTRY THAT YOU SERVE. WHAT YOU DO AND HOW YOU PRESENT YOURSELF REFLECTS ON YOUR COUNTRY, IT REFLECTS ON YOU.

Unless you don’t want to be like a certain president who sided with pseudoscientific people and put his country’s citizens in danger and had little to no political experience then please think before you lay down a policy.

Secondly, before a person becomes a politician they must have AT LEAST enough political experience to qualify for their role. For example president Biden before he became president he was a senator and he was vice president to Barack Obama who himself was a lawyer so he also had experience in the matters of the law.

In regards to an unfortunate president. He had absolutely NO political experience at all. He was a reality TV star and a businessman. While it might have gained him some experience with people (which it didn’t, given the allegations that are against him). It did not give him the experience needed to be the President of The United States and America being the great country that it is can not afford to have someone make their country look like a complete laughing stock on the world stage.

America needs a president who is going to think before they make any country-altering policies. These policies in turn are policies that alter the outcome of the outlook of the nation. For example, if president Biden who is the country’s current president were to improve healthcare that would be a good example of a president thinking about his actions before he lays down the law.

An example of the opposite is of course former President Donald Trump choosing to side with Anti-Vaxxers. As I have mentioned before a president can not be seen to side with pseudoscientific people. This gave America a negative outcome on the global index scale.
