Introduction

Now as people are all aware, Adolf Hitler was a murderer who killed millions of people including but not limited to the following groups: Jews, Romani, Disabled people, and other minorities that did not fit his Aryan regime, in which he sent a majority of these people to die in Auschwitz. Millions of people died at the gas chambers in Auschwitz and millions of people suffered brutality at the hands of the Nazi soldiers. What does that have to do with veganism you may ask? Recently, multiple radical vegans have compared the slaughter of animals to the holocaust with one radical vegan comparing famous chef Gordon Ramsay to the famous Nazi Dictator Adolf Hitler. Bear in mind that these vegans are those that force their veganism down other people’s throats, with the most notorious vegan being a 27-year-old female vegan activist named Tash Peterson. Tash recently made the headlines in Australia for storming a KFC and spilling red paint on the floor. Another is a Canadian-born activist named Kadie Karen Diekmeyer, currently known by her now former TikTok handle and current youtube channel name “That Vegan Teacher” who also has gained notoriety for singing outside of a McDonald’s in Canada. She has also gained notoriety for asking people to “Change their religion like they change their underwear.” It is radical vegans like these that compare the slaughter in a slaughterhouse to the actual slaughter at the Nazi Holocaust of which millions of people died. Furthermore, Kadie has also come under fire for her homophobic comments and one racist video that shows Kadie using the N slur spaced out in an acronym on a piece of paper, and on that piece of paper has a black doll. The notorious activist in the video said that it would be better to ban animal cruelty than to ban the slur itself, which in turn infuriated a lot of people. While it is not known exactly how many people were killed during the holocaust, one can be sure that the holocaust goes down today in history for the number of people that were killed. Now regarding the slaughter of animals that are used for human consumption, there are laws in place to protect these animals, and in a majority of cases, these animals are treated with the utmost love and compassion. As for the animals that are abused, while it is sad in the way that there are cruel humans that abuse animals, it does not however give any vegan any right to compare this to those who have died either imprisoned in war camps, sent to extermination chambers or as POWs. Nor does it give any vegan any right to compare a celebrity chef to a dictator as he has not done anything to be compared to Adolf Hitler. As mentioned before there were minorities that were being targeted during the holocaust and many many people died at the concentration camps and in Gas chambers.

Vegetables for thought for the vegans

For those vegans who do this; I want you to picture yourself. Picture yourself with an ancestor who died in the holocaust or as a survivor of that holocaust. Now for those who decided to picture themselves as a survivor of a holocaust, how would you feel if after everything that you have been through, the discrimination, the suffering and the losses and all the traumatic experiences that you have gone through, or being taken from your home, your prison number still tattooed on your arm, you come across a vegan activist or someone who says to you “Oh the holocaust was not that bad, “Oh, animal slaughter is worse than the holocaust.” Now picture that same thought if you had a grandmother or mother who was a survivor of that holocaust, would you appreciate people saying to you “Animal slaughter was worse than the holocaust!”? How would you feel to have your own or your family’s experiences invalidated? Just simply thrown away like it was nothing? Now picture those survivors or those with relatives that survived the holocaust. Picture how they would feel hearing that you have just done that. Would you continue invalidating their experience?

Additional conclusions

Going after big celebrities like Dhar Mann, Gordon Ramsay, and other celebrities and attacking veterans, firefighters and those who do a good cause for the country of their origin will not help you to get your point across furthermore it will just cause people to attack you even further.

In Brief

While animal cruelty is a bad thing and it is cruel to abuse animals, comparing abuse of these animals to the Nazi Holocaust is not going to fix anything. In fact here are some better ideas; Why don’t you pursue and target ACTUAL organizations that ACTIVELY hurt animals? Such as PETA (Yes they actually kill more animals than they aim to help), and those that race Greyhounds. Furthermore not once have there been any nonvegans comparing cruelty in a slaughterhouse to those that have died in the concentration camps.
